At Kildaire Counseling, we partner with you as you navigate life’s changes. Whether through retirement, health challenges, caregiving, loss, times of stress, or major life transitions, our seasoned therapists provide compassionate care tailored to your needs.

We address common mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, grief, coping with chronic illness, and more.

Accessibility matters. Telehealth can be accessible to everyone, and telephone sessions are available if needed. In-person appointments are available at our office in Cary, NC at 201 Shannon Oaks Cir., Suite 102. We also have limited  availability at nearby Retirement Communities. Anna Watkins

MSW, LCSW

Anna is the owner of Kildaire Counseling. She brings two decades of experience working with caregivers and older adults across the continuum of care. 

She currently takes Medicare and most Medicare Advantage Plans, Aetna, BCBSNC, Cigna, Evernorth, HealthSpring, and Private Pay. Anna will be taking new clients in January, 2027.

Amanda Almodovar

MSW, LCSW

Amanda brings more than 20 years of mental health experience to her work with children, adults, families, and artists seeking support in creative spaces.

As both a licensed therapist and trained intimacy professional, she specializes in consent-based collaboration, trauma-informed care, and empowering clients to reach their goals with confidence and clarity.

Amanda accepts Medicare, Most Medicare Advantage plans, Aetna, BCBSNC, Cigna, Evernorth and HealthSpring. She is accepting new clients.

Geri Johnson

MDiv, LCMHC, LCAS, CTP

Geri is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Addiction Specialist, and Certified Trauma Professional.  She has over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through grief, loss, life transitions, and the challenges of aging.  

With a calm, compassionate presence, Geri partners with clients to create a safe space for healing, reflection, and meaningful change.  

Geri is currently seeing clients via telehealth.  Geri accepts Medicare, BCBSNC, Aetna, Cigna and Humana Medicare PPO plans. 

Donna Green

MSW, LCSW

Donna provides a warm and approachable space where you can feel at ease sharing your story. She understands how overwhelming life transitions, loss, and daily responsibilities can become, and she’s passionate about helping people find balance and relief during difficult times. With compassion and genuine care, Donna walks alongside her clients as they move toward healing, resilience, and stronger relationships.

Donna accepts Medicare, BCBSNC, Aetna, Cigna, Evernorth, HealthSpring and Humana Medicare Advantage PPO plans.

Eddie Alcorn

Kerri Patrick

MSW, LCSW

Kerri provides compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, dementia-related challenges, and caregiver stress. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, she integrates CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to help clients build practical skills while fostering meaningful, lasting growth. Kerri also specializes in supporting caregivers through both one-time consultations and ongoing counseling services related to dementia care and aging concerns.

Kerri will see clients in person in Cary. Kerri accepts Medicare, Humana Medicare Advantage PPO plans, Cigna and BCBSNC. She is accepting new clients now.

LCSW

Eddie specializes in supporting adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, caregiver stress, adjustment disorder, mild cognitive impairment, vision loss, and trauma. Eddie is particularly passionate about helping older adults navigate changes in health and function while finding continued joy, meaning, and purpose in their lives. Eddie also enjoys working with individuals in the “sandwich generation” who are balancing the demands of caring for children and aging parents while managing work, relationships, and other responsibilities.

Eddie takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach, helping clients explore their feelings, consider different perspectives, identify existing strengths, and develop practical strategies for navigating both immediate concerns and long-term goals. He is currently accepting new clients.
